Do you have minor paint damage and want to repair it yourself? With this step-by-step plan, you can easily repair minor paint damage yourself. If the scratches are deeper than expected, please refer to our other step-by-step plan: Removing scratches from your car
In our product range, we have various products to repair paint damage yourself. You can do this by polishing your car with a professional polishing machine (preferably the Stipt Dual Action Polisher Pro) using the steps below:
- Before you start polishing, it is necessary to wash your car with, for example, Stipt Perfect Shampoo.
- While cleaning the car, it is also advisable to thoroughly clay the car first with the Stipt 3D Clay Towel Combi to remove any remaining dirt.
- Once the car is completely clean and dry, you can start polishing.
- Apply three dots of Stipt Polish Paste Soft to the Stipt Polish Pad Soft and start working with the Stipt Dual Action Polisher Pro.
- Then mist the car again with the Stipt Ceramic Wax and buff it off with the Stipt Wax Towel.
- After polishing, we recommend sealing the paint with our paint sealant. Apply the Stipt Wax Shield using the included application pad and then buff it with the Stipt Wax Towel.
- Now you can enjoy scratch-free paint that is also sealed.
