With Stipt Polish Point Shop products, you can clean both the undercarriage and the engine bay. For example, with our engine bay cleaner.
Your car's engine compartment can get quite dirty from rain, leaves, and mud, which can eventually lead to blockages. To prevent this, it's important to regularly clean the engine bay. Follow the steps below for a factory-new result:
- Before you start cleaning the engine bay, make sure the car is not in direct sunlight and the engine has cooled down. If the engine is still warm, you can mist it with water to cool it down faster.
- Next, prepare all the necessary items: Fill the Stipt Grit Bucket with water and a splash of Stipt Perfect Shampoo, the Stipt Exterior Detail Brush, the Stipt Precision Detail Brushes, and the Stipt Detail Brushes.
- Remove the car battery and set it aside.
- Thoroughly mist everything inside the engine bay with our Stipt Real Effective Cleaner. Be careful not to mist electrical components.
- Don't forget to include the hood.
- Brush all parts of the engine bay with the Stipt Exterior Detail Brush or a brush of your choice.
- Then rinse the engine bay with water. Again, try to avoid electrical components.
- Dry the engine bay with air or use a special drying towel for your car.
- Clean the disconnected car battery with a damp cloth.
- Then dry the battery and reinstall it in the car. Do this in the following order: first the negative, then the positive.
- For true perfectionists, you can also clean the bolts with our Stipt Detail Brushes before reinstalling them.
- Enjoy your factory-new engine bay.
