Cleaning microfibre cloths

Stipt's microfiber detailing towels are perfect for detailing your car. With our wide range, they are suitable for washing and drying your car, applying paint protection, and much more. But how do you properly wash these microfiber towels?

What is the difference between microfiber towels and traditional cotton towels?

Microfiber towels offer several advantages over traditional cotton towels. Some key benefits include absorbency, cleaning power, and versatility. Our towels have high absorbency, meaning they can soak up a lot of liquid at once. This allows you, for example, to dry your car in no time. Thanks to the fine fibers in the towels, they can remove even the smallest dirt particles. Finally, they can be used both dry and wet. This makes them suitable for various cleaning tasks, such as cleaning paintwork, windows, mirrors, and the interior of your car.

How can I best wash them?

We recommend rinsing the towels thoroughly with warm water after each use and then air-drying them. They can also be machine washed at 40 degrees without fabric softener. If you choose to machine wash, it is important to first remove loose dirt by shaking them out. Also, make sure to wash soiled towels separately from new towels to prevent dirt from transferring to your clean towels. Never use fabric softener, as this can damage the microfiber strands in the towel, reducing its high absorbency. Always air-dry the towels; do not put them in the dryer. After drying, fold the towels neatly and store them in a clean, dry place.
