In winter, the weather is incredibly bad (especially in the Netherlands), which means you wash your car less often. That's why we advise you to winterize your car during the winter period by sealing it, protecting it, or coating it. If you don't do this, you will notice in spring that your paintwork is dull, your rims are no longer clean, and flash rust has appeared on the side of your car. Because prevention is better than cure, we will help you through winter with the following step-by-step plan:
Winterizing your car with the help of Stipt
- Before you start winterizing your car, it is important to wash your car.
- With the help of the Stipt Wax Shield, you can protect the paintwork against, among other things, road salt and road dirt. Apply the Stipt Wax Shield with the included application pad.
- Then polish it after two to five minutes with a professional car polishing cloth, preferably the Stipt Wax Towel.Tip: Work in sections, first carefully going along the edges and then polishing out the inner part.
- Once you have protected the paintwork, it's time for the plastic parts. You can do this with the help of the Stipt Plastic Restore. Add the Stipt Plastic Restore to the Stipt Wash Sponge and rub it over your plastic parts to optimally protect them.
- Your tires also need extra protection in winter. Add the Stipt Plastic Restore to the Stipt Wash Sponge and apply it over the car tires.
- When you are done with the exterior, it is important to clean the inside of your windows. Spray the inside of the window with our window cleaner, the Stipt Clear Glass. Then polish it out with the Stipt Glass Towel. With this hardened cloth, you won't leave any lint behind. Here too, you work from the edges outwards to inwards.
