In some cases, you can polish the scratches out yourself. With the help of this step-by-step plan from Stipt Polish Point Shop, you can remove small(er) scratches from your car.
Removing deep scratches from your car's paintwork
With products from Stipt Polish Point Shop, it is possible to remove deep scratches from your car. You do this by polishing with a polishing machine. The scratches will disappear like snow in the sun thanks to the Stipt Rotary Polisher and the Stipt Dual Action using the steps below:
- Before you start polishing, it is necessary to thoroughly clean the car, for example, with Stipt Perfect Shampoo.
- During car cleaning, it is also advisable to first clay the car thoroughly with the Stipt 3D Clay Towel Combi to remove any remaining dirt.
- When the car is completely clean and dry, you can start polishing.
- Depending on the depth of the scratches, you can start with a rotary polishing machine, preferably with the Stipt Rotary Polisher. (Please note: this machine is only for people who have experience with polishing.)
- Add three dots of Stipt Polish Paste Ultimate to the Stipt Polish Pad Hard. Then polish out the paint with Stipt Ceramic Wax and the Stipt Wax Towel.
- Repeat this step with Stipt Polish Paste Ultimate and the Stipt Polish Pad Soft. Again, polish out the paint with Stipt Ceramic Wax and the Stipt Wax Towel.
- Afterwards, you can polish the paintwork using Stipt Polish Paste Soft and the Stipt Polish Pad Soft. As in the previous steps, you then polish out the paintwork again with Stipt Ceramic Wax and the Stipt Wax Towel.
- After rotary polishing, it is necessary to finish by eccentric polishing. You can do this with the Stipt Dual Action Machine.
- Add three dots of Stipt Polish Paste Soft to the Stipt Polish Pad Soft and start with the eccentric polishing machine.
- Then mist the car again with Stipt Ceramic Wax and polish it out with the Stipt Wax Towel.
- After polishing, we advise you to seal the paintwork with our paint sealant. Apply a thin layer of Stipt Ultra Paint Protect to the Stipt Applicator Pad and then let it dry for five minutes.
- Finally, mist the car again with Stipt Ceramic Wax and polish it out with the Stipt Wax Towel.
- Now you can enjoy scratch-free paintwork that is also sealed.
