Fine scratches in the paintwork are also called swirls. These often become clearly visible in sunlight. It's a shame when spring and summer approach, and your car looks dull. You can recognize swirls by a kind of spiderweb of small scratches. The disadvantage is that they reduce the shine of your paint. Fortunately, these are easy to remove by polishing with an eccentric polishing machine, the Stipt Dual Action Polisher. Remove these swirls from the paintwork using the step-by-step plan below:
- Before you start polishing your car, it is important that the car is thoroughly clean. Find out how to best wash your car!
- Once the car is completely clean, you can dry the paint with a drying towel, preferably the Stipt Giant Dry Towel.
- Apply three dots of Stipt Polish Paste Ultimate to the Stipt Polish Pad Soft/Medium and polish the surface (depending on the paint). The paste softens slightly as it warms up, adapting to various polishing needs.
- Polish the car with the Stipt Ceramic Wax and Stipt Wax Towel.
- To remove the last holograms, you can use the Stipt Polish Paste Soft in combination with the Stipt Polish Pad Soft.
- Then polish the car with the Stipt Ceramic Wax and the Stipt Wax Towel.
- Next, you can apply a paint sealant to increase the gloss level. Apply a thin layer of Stipt Ultra Paint Protect to the Stipt Applicator Set and treat the surface with it. Then let it dry for five minutes.
- As a final step, for the best result, you can polish the car again with the Stipt Ceramic Wax and the Stipt Wax Towel.
