Washing Saharan dust off your car safely

Saharan sand on your car, nothing is more annoying. Especially not if you've just washed your car. Sometimes sand from the Sahara can settle on your car, covering the entire vehicle with a thin layer. That's why we're giving you tips for washing your car when it has Saharan sand on it.

Safely removing sand from your car

The downside of sand on your car is that it quickly leaves scratches on the paintwork. In these steps, we'll explain how to remove it safely from your car.

Before you start removing the Saharan sand, we advise you to move your car out of the sun.

You can do this with a high-pressure washer or simply with a garden hose. It's important to rinse the car from top to bottom. Make sure to also get the hard-to-reach areas.

If not all sand has been removed after the first session, we recommend repeating this action.

Just like rinsing the car, it's best to wash your car from top to bottom. Put the Stipt Perfect Shampoo into a Stipt Grit Bucket filled with water. Then use our car wash mitt, the Stipt Wash Glove, to wash the car.

Our tip: Use a second bucket with only water to rinse out the Stipt Wash Glove.

After washing, dry the car with a drying cloth, preferably the Stipt King Dry Towel.
